Ferg’s loyalty and belief in quality formed a 22 year partnership with the original butchers at this site. The home of so many a meat pattie, so many a pie filling.

As it became time for the original team to retire – in a flurry of electric fervour, Ferg jumped at the offer to take the reins. A butcher, a baker, a bloody good burger maker — well, why not!? We officially welcome you to Fergbutcher— Arrowtown’s premier destination for quality meat and small goods.

And what would meat be, without the unwavering support of bread? That deceptively simple, humble hero. We proudly offer a selection of Fergbaker freshly baked breads and pastries, now available in Arrowtown, everyday.

Perhaps you are looking for a hot drink and something delicious to eat? We can provide that for you too! We have a range of food from our hot kitchen, and expertly crafted coffee. We salute Ferg in respect to the quality and care he’s strived to achieve on his heroic, good food pilgrimage, started back in 2001.
